Let me tell you this, Leona isnt just another forgettable story. Her childhood is the exemplar of the demons lurking in our community, of the dark secrets that many of us refuse to speak out about and the lethal effects of keeping it all hidden. Through her, we tried to shine light on how inhuman even the dearest ones around us can be and the scars of suffering such childhood trauma. 

 Beyond all the dark and twisted past, she is still much more. She is the naive child who deserved a better childhood, she a woman who is learning to become strong despite it all, and mostly There’s many Leonas among us all.  Let me tell you this, Leona isn’t just another forgettable story, it is the harsh reality that many are facing or have faced.
